Is Marcia Cross a lesbian Desperate Housewife?
Last week we told you that an ABC spy revealed not only that it would be Bree's son who would be the upcoming gay character on the hit show Desperate Housewives, but that somebody on the show would be coming out soon in real life as well. Well, the rumor mill is declaring that the gay cast member is none other than Marcia Cross, who plays the all too-perfect domaneering mother Bree. "Some of the other housewives were worried the news might hurt the ratings. But creator Marc Cherry is gay and very supportive of her decision," an insider says. If it's true we still don't know who the other top network star is that Cross is involved with and Marcia's publicist issued a statement today in response to the rumors of her impending coming out: The Desperate Housewives star says she’s straight.[Date: 09-Feb-05 ]
