Coronation Street’s Antony Cotton to get a boyfriend
Coronation Street scriptwriters are set to introduce viewers to the soap’s first gay couple, the Sunday Mirror reports. Weatherfield’s camp factory worker Sean Tully is set to get a screen boyfriend, building on the successful role played by real-life gay actor Antony Cotton, pictured. Corrie bosses are reportedly so pleased with Cotton’s portrayal of the loveable underwear machinist that they have offered him a lucrative new contract and an exciting romantic storyline.
