Lesbian bar bomber Eric Rudolph sentenced to life withour parole Confessed serial bomber Eric Rudolph was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole today for the deadly 1998 bombing at a Birmingham, Alabama, women's clinic. Rudolph avoided the death penalty with a plea agreement, pleading guilty to four bombings in the South that killed two people and wounded more than 100 between 1996 and 1998. His second was at an Atlanta lesbian nightclub called The Otherside Lounge where four people were wounded. A second bomb at the bar was found by police and defused it went off.�[Date: 19-Jul-05 ]
