Lesbian activist Fannyann Eddy's killer has escaped The man being held for the brutal murder of Sierra Leonean lesbian activist Fannyann Eddy has escaped from custody. Sankoh, 19, was being held while awaiting trial in the High Court of Freetown. It appears that an undisclosed number of other prisoners escaped as well, leading to the belief that the event was most likely a matter of circumstance, rather than anything specifically related to Sankoh or Eddy.
