Murder of Amancio Corrales mobilizes a community I admit it. I blew it in not previously reporting on the Arizona murder of Amancio Corrales, 23, a gay man and popular drag performer known as "Delilah" - pictured. For some strange reason I kept confusing the story with the murder of John Mayos. Perhaps there's a psychic connection and I'll wind up on Medium next season. But for now, with overdue respect, I must tell you that his body was found, in drag, in the Colorado River on May 6. Cause of death has been reported only as "violent trauma." There haven't been any leads in the case, although there's been talk on Gay In Yuma that Corrales may have been killed by U.S. Marines.�[Date: 28-Jun-05 ]
