The Queen opened last week in the UK, just before David and I left for Oz. Unfortunately we didnt have time to see it (we missed Volver too), but it looks great. Check out the trailer here.
I love Helen Mirren. I think she is one of the best actress around. And now she stars as Queen Elizabeth in a film about the monarchy after Princess Diana’s death. Directed by Stephen Frears, it should be a good show about coming to terms with changing histories.
