mishin and murzin In Moscow today the federal Supreme Court refused to amend Russia’s Family Code and authorize same-sex marriages. State Assembly-member Edward Murzin’s complaint brought the issue to the forefront. Murzin (shown right) demanded Family Code clauses 1 and 12 amended. The court ruled that amending the acting legislation is outside the scope of the court and dismissed it.
