Westlifer Mark Feehily comes out gay and in love - with Kevin McDaid Mark Feehily of the Irish boyband Westlife spoke publicly about his sexuality for the first time, and the heart-throb revealed, "I am gay and I'm very proud." Feehily, pictured, who has always shied away from talking about his private life, decided to be open now that the group are an established part of the pop fraternity - with twelve number one hits under their belts. "I want people to know the truth about my sexuality. I am gay and I'm very proud of who I am. I'm not asking for sympathy or to be a role model for anyone else," he announced to The Sun.
