Signature gathering can begin for Calif gay marriage ban
California Attorney General Bill Lockyer released a summary of a proposed constitutional amendment highlighting how same-sex couples will be stripped of their domestic partner rights while also banning gay marriage. The homophobes may now begin gathering the 598,105 signatures they need to try and put it on the June 2006 ballot.
