Project Runway hasn't changed Jay McCarroll Quite possibly the queerest show on television last season, the emmy-nominated Project Runway is headed to DVD this November 29th. The 3-disc set contains the complete 1st Season with every episode, including the double-length season finale that saw Queer Day favorite Jay McCarroll win the crown. We don't think it's changed him, either. "I buy everything at the Salvation Army," McCarroll said, pointing to his jacket and shirt. His signature multicolored headwrap and patchwork pants are homemade. His flip-flops are from Old Navy. "I'm not a shopper," he says. "I'm supposed to come to the fashion industry to inject a dose of realism. The girls who were [jerks] in high school and are now the assistant to the assistant to the assistant at Vogue -- I'd rather live in a trailer than be a part of that group of people."�
