Ralph Fiennes goes gay again in Doris and Bernard According to Variety, it looks like we're going to see British actor Ralph Fiennes playing gay again this year. After his performance in Chromophobia, directed by his sister Martha, Fiennes and Susan Sarandon are currently working out the details to star in Doris and Bernard, the film based on the life of tobacco billionairess Doris Duke and her relationship with her gay butler, Bernard Lafferty. Penned by Hugh Costello, the story's focus is really on Duke's relationship with Lafferty, to whom she left her entire fortune. Shooting is scheduled to begin this October in New York with Bob Balaban directing. �
