Dr. Clifford Smyth comes out about his cross-dressing
UK historian Dr. Clifford Smyth announced that he\'s spent most of his life fighting the urge to wear women\'s clothing. The well-known unionist commentator wrote a frank and honest account of his interest in cross-dressing entitled, "Dealing With My Sexual Brokenness." And now Sunday Life has published an exclusive photo of Smyth\'s alter ego, "Deirdre Blanchflower," pictured, taken at a charity Christmas function in Belfast in 1993.
