Aussie National Day of Action for gay marriage August 13 Australia's Socialist Alliance, NSW Community Action Against Homophobia and Australian Marriage Equality are calling for a national day of action on August 13, 2005, the one year anniversary of the Australian ban on same-sex marriage. Activists will rally to demand the federal government repeal the ban same-sex marriage and institutes marriage rights for all. Rachel Evans says, "there will be a rally in every capital city except Darwin. The last truly national day of action around queer rights was 1984. We are making history!"�[Date: 21-Jul-05 ]
