30 Days puts Straight Man Ryan in Ed's gay Castro world On the new FX TV series 30 Days, Super Size Me's Morgan Spurlock has people experiencing things for 30 days they otherwise wouldn't and on the last episode, "Straight Man in a Gay World," Christian conservative Ryan, shown right, moved in with a gay man named Ed who lives in the Castro here in San Francisco, shown left. Ryan arrives equating gay men with murderers and Ed welcomes him with great warmth and tolerance anyway. He takes Ryan to the gym and an MCC Church service and while he maintains his rigidity he does admit homophobia was beat into me.�[Date: 11-Jul-05 ]
