John Waters upset about Divine Lives, Dirty Shame DVD censorship Apparently a new play about the late and legendary drag queen Divine (called "Divine Lives!) was going to open at the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center. Gossip maven Michael Musto, however, revealed that a source told him that John Waters was preturbed and he made a call and had the show cancelled. Waters apparently had no comment on the matter, but in any case, Divine Lives! doesn't. One thing I do know Waters is definitely upset about is the censorship of his NC-17 film "A Dirty Shame" for DVD sales. �[Date: 21-Jun-05 ]
