Homophobic Santa Maria unable to give Diana Hall a fair trial, atty claims It's interesting to see Superior Court Judge Diana Hall's attorney using community homophobia as a reason to get her trial moved from conservative Santa Maria to the more liberal community of Santa Barbara. Hall faces four misdemeanor counts of violating California's campaign finance laws. As evidence against Santa Maria, a sworn declaration by Janet Stanley, former CEO of the Pacific Pride Center in Santa Barbara, states that Santa Maria is homophobic. She's still hearing civil cases during litigation.�
