Court hears transgender father Penny Port's murder was self defense

Court hears transgender father Penny Port's murder was self defense The Sheffield court heard the chilling 999 call - that's the UK's emergency phone number. Neil Port Jr. leaves the phone, there are sounds of stabbing and shouting, and he returns saying, "I think I have killed him." Killed who you're asking? His father, formerly known as Neil Port Sr., now known as a part time boxing coach named Penny Port. Penny had allegedly broken into the now ex-wife's house and threatened to kill her after hearing she had called Penny a "pervert in dresses." The ex-wife wasn't home, but sons Neil and Terry were. Jurors heard how Penny smashed her way into the house and grabbed Terry by the throat. Neil grabbed a kitchen knife and stabbed her several times in the back and chest. She died hours later at the Northern General Hospital. The trial continues.
