Castro gay bar Badlands ruled against by San Francisco Supervisors The San Francisco Board of Supervisors unanimously passed a resolution urging city and state agencies to penalize a gay nightclub that the city Human Rights Commission said discriminated against blacks. A month ago the commission found that Les Natali, the owner of the Castro gay bar Badlands, was in violation of local civil rights codes. The Supervisors urged the city attorney, the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing and the San Francisco Entertainment Commission "to impose penalties to the fullest extent of the law to ensure accountability for discrimination."�
