Queer Day's Philo Hagen quoted on AMA controversy

The other day we told you about the AMA's Dr. John Nelson, who compared New York Medical College's decision to bar a gay students' group from campus with Brigham Young banning Coca-Cola and suspending four athletes accused of raping a 17-year-old girl. Nelson now says he was misquoted, but nevermind about that. Queer Day's own Philo Hagen, pictured, is quoted in the article, saying he found Nelson's comments hypocritical and disappointing. "This is the person that's responsible for really setting the tone of the cultural norms for medicine in America," Philo told the AP. "It's kind of crazy."
