L Word's Sarah Shahi a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader
When former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader Sarah Shahi learned that she got the part on "The L Word," she wasn't sure she wanted it. "I didn't know if I wanted it or not. It was not only the material, but could I do it well enough. It's a pretty big deal to go into everybody's households and be a lesbian," Shahi said. Fact is she's never had a challenging role and her character, Carmen, is introduced in the first episode and quickly gets into a love triangle with Mia Kirshner's Jenny and Katherine Moennig's Shane.
