Gay Australian cabinet minister Penny Wong comes out against gay marriage
UNBELIEVABLE!
Australia's first openly gay cabinet minister Penny Wong is AGAINST LGBT marriage.
I don't know what Australia is coming to - they seem to be going back to the dark ages when Europe and even the US are now more progressive than any other time in the history of mankind.
Penny Wong claims "'The party's position is very clear and that is an institution between a man a woman,” she said.
Adding: 'I do respect the fact that's how people view the institution.'
What a sell out Penny. You should be ashamed of yourself!!

There has been anger and bewilderment in Rome after Italian newspaper "Panorama"
published an article called the 'wild night of gay priests
Journalists took a hidden camera to follow catholic priests who have sex with men in the gay area of Rome. Among those interviewed by the paper 98 percent of bar goers knew a gay priest.
The diocese of Rome yesterday expressed sorrow for the information posted weekly on the sex lives of gay priests in the Italian capital.
Apart from the gay priests in Romes gay area, the diocese of Rome also highlights that over 1,300 priests serve in Rome and are involved in charities, universities, hospitals and in support of the poor.

Irish civil partnership bill has become law
The Irish civil partnership bill has been signed into law by President Mary McAleese meaning there are now gay civil partnerships in Ireland as well as Britain.
Minister for Justice Dermot Ahern described the Act as
“one of the most important pieces of civil rights legislation to be enacted since independence” and “the epitome of a Christian and pluralist society.”
The gay civil partnerships bill was supported by all parties in the Dail, although individual politicians have criticised the legislation. It is expected to become law in the autumn, 17 years after homosexuality was fully decriminalised in the Irish Republic.
The new legislation lays out fines of up to €2,000 and/or up to a six month jail term for those who flout it.

Sherlock Holmes and Watson may be gay
The latest production from the BBC starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Doctor John Watson shows the couple fighting crime in contemporary London.
In a similar vein to Torchwood, the couple are seen discussing their sexuality. We are lead to question whether they are "Just good friends" or are they gay.
The three-part BBC1 drama Sherlock re-imagines Holmes in today's Baker Street acting as a crime 'consultant' to the police. Holmes is seen brandishing a 'smartphone', using the internet and texting criminals in a bid to solve crimes.
In one scene, Watson asks Holmes whether he has a girlfriend. He replies: 'Girlfriend, no. Not really my area.'
The conversation leads to Holmes saying: 'John, I think you should know I consider myself married to my work and while I am flattered by your interest, I am really not looking for anyone.'
We are lead to believe that Sherlock Holmes and Watson are gay, but not interested in each other. Maybe the series will pan out to explore their sexuality further.
Its about time we had a main stream detective series include a gay character.Maybe Sherlock is the one.

Has the time come for gay marriage in the UK?
"The deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats, Simon Hughes MP has told Yoosk.com, a question and answer website, that gay couples are likely to gain full rights to marriage under the current Parliament.
This would be a revolution for gay rights, but there is still a long way to go before same-sex couples achieve full rights to marriage as they are arguably entitled to under human rights law.
Simon Hughes also said 'I don't know the answer because we haven't had the discussion', but that 'I see absolutely no reason why we shouldn't all be able to support what Nick Clegg said, which is that it would be appropriate in Britain in 2010-11 for there to be the ability to have civil marriage for straight people and gay people equally".
With public opinion softening after five years of civil partnerships with no apocalyptic results, it is possible that the time for gay marriage in the UK might finally have come.

Adrien Brody Packed on Muscle to Fight Aliens - Great man
Adrien Brody talked to the L.A. Times about his 25-pound transformation to action hero for the sci-fi thriller Predators:
Adrien Brody isn't kidding himself — he knows that when people hear his name, "action hero" isn't the first description that comes to mind.
"The comment is constantly like 'skinny actor.' I'm thin. I'm not skinny at all," said Brody, 37, seeming slightly irritated as he reclined poolside at a Los Angeles hotel last month. "It's that they harp on a physical thing, because I don't think there's a question about my ability as an actor."
In the new film, Brody plays an amoral mercenary who leads a group of assassins through the inhospitable landscape of an alien planet, where they have been planted to exterminate a menacing breed of alien species.
"It's a role that a studio wouldn't necessarily have me on a list for. And I had to kind of do some convincing, that I'm capable of physical transformation. It was a very challenging thing for me to embark on. I think that fans have expectations if you're going to reboot a series like that — so there's a certain amount of risk that inspires me. It's very different from something I've done before...When I was training, I wasn't really showing off the progress, and at the end, I think I scared them because I had grown a lot and they were all pretty shocked at how I looked."
"When I was training, I wasn't really showing off the progress, and at the end, I think I scared them because I had grown a lot and they were all pretty shocked at how I looked," he said, glancing down at his body. His flannel shirt fell loosely onto his frame, and it appeared that he had since shed much of the muscle mass he gained for the film.
John Barrowman co-star's 'baby offer'
John Barrowman claims one of his Desperate Housewives co-stars offered to make his dream come true - by having a baby for him.
The Torchwood star, who joined the cast in Wisteria Lane, revealed that Drea de Matteo said she would help him have his longed-for child.
John told the new edition of Heat magazine they had become close on-set after he was cast as Patrick Logan, the evil ex-boyfriend of Drea's character, Angie Bolen.
"Drea said we're like brother and sister, separated at birth and that she'd have my kids," he said.
"She's got this amazing New Jersey drawl, 'I usually don't like actors, but I like you. You want a kid? Come to me, I'll have a baby for ya'. Brilliant."
John, who begins a new series of his Tonight's The Night series on BBC One on Saturday, has spoken of his desire to be a father since tying the knot in a civil partnership with long-term partner architect Scott Gill.
In a recent interview he said: "I think I would be a good dad. Scott and I have an incredible amount to offer a child."

Killer who murdered London gay man must serve full sentence - from Pink News - all the latest gay news from the gay community - Pink News
A man who attacked a south London gay couple, leaving one dead, has failed to get his jail sentence reduced.
David Kilcullen, 47, of Bickley, was jailed for a minimum of 32 years in prison last December for the murder of Gerry Edwards, 59, and the attempted murder of Chris Bevan, 57.
He took a knife to their Bromley home in March 2009, stabbing Mr Edwards to death and severely injuring Mr Bevan.
The judge said Kilcullen had had at least an 'undercurrent of homophobic attitude'.
He appealed to have the sentence reduced but the News Shopper reports this was rejected at the Court of Appeal by Mr Justice Griffith-Williams.
Kilcullen pleaded not guilty to the attack, falsely claiming the pair had sexually assaulted him.
But the jury heard that he had visited their home to steal, expecting Mr Edwards, who was dying of AIDS, to be alone in the house.
Mr Bevan spent months in hospital recovering from a brain injury.
