Wigstock returns this month and invites controversy
Wigstock returns this month and invites controversy Wigstock is happening this month in New York City's Tompkins Square Park, but the event is not without it's controversy. Liquor, pictured, his overweight, opinionated, African-American mom presented in blackface while delivering Ebonics-laced monologues. Protestors picketed her previous NYC performances, cancelling the second one. [Date: 09-Aug-05 ]
